A lot of homeowners sit on unused attic space for years. It's easy to overlook what's up there - especially when it still looks like raw framing and insulation. But finished right, that space becomes a real room. A guest suite, a home office, an ADU-style living area. The potential is there. It just takes the right crew to pull it out.

Here's where we are on this one. Drywall is fully hung and mudded throughout - walls, ceiling angles, all of it. The pitched roofline on this attic made for some detailed work, especially getting the angles tight where the ceiling meets the knee walls. That's not something you rush. Getting those transitions clean now is what makes the finish coat look sharp later.

Next up is flooring and trim. We've got self-leveler on site and ready to go, which tells you something about how seriously we take the subfloor prep. Skipping that step is how you end up with flooring that shifts, squeaks, or fails early. We do it right the first time.

This kind of work - turning dead attic space into finished square footage - is exactly what we do when we build out ADUs and bonus living spaces. Whether it becomes a rentable unit, a private suite for family, or just added square footage for your household, the process is the same. Thoughtful. Sequenced. Built to last.

Attic conversions are one of the most cost-effective ways to add livable space without touching your home's footprint. If you've been thinking about it, now's a great time to get the conversation started.
